Extra Mile Award: NGPF Certification Courses

How many teachers do you think have completed all 12 NGPF Certification Courses?

This week, we’re celebrating the achievements of educators from the 2021-2022 school year! Today, we recognize the teachers who completed all 12 NGPF Certification Courses - a commitment of 120 hours spent becoming more confident, qualified, and ready for their classroom.

NGPF offers virtual Certification Courses focused on a single personal finance topic. Educators strengthen their content knowledge with 9 hours of live instruction and are assessed through a hourlong exam. The topics of these courses include investing, insurance, behavioral economics and paying for college. We added two new Certification Courses this year based on teacher requests: Behavioral Economics and Cryptocurrency Basics.

These courses have proven quite popular with teachers earning 3,343 certifications in the 2021-22 school year and a total of 9,473 total certifications since launch in June of 2020. NGPF Academy recognizes and rewards educators who participate in NGPF professional development. Teachers earn NGPF swag as their credit hours accumulate. You are automatically enrolled in the NGPF Academy when you participate in a Virtual PD, complete an On-Demand module or crush an NGPF Certification Course

The envelope please...congratulations to the 23 teachers who have successfully completed all 12 NGPF Certifications to date!
