This content will provide students with an overview of games of chance, including its history, social and economic implications, and the importance of responsible gambling practices.
The mini-unit will explore various aspects of gambling, including:
- Lotteries
- Casino games
- The growing popularity of sports betting
- The mathematics behind the phrase “the house always wins”
- The potential risks associated with gambling addiction
- How to approach gambling in a healthy and responsible way
Our goal is to help you equip students with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about gambling while also stressing the age restrictions placed on gambling by states.
Stay tuned for more information about the specific content and release date of this new mini-unit. We look forward to sharing this valuable resource with you and your students!
