NEW Google Slides for the Semester Course and Middle School Course
You asked, we listened. NGPF is thrilled to announce the release of Google Slides to accompany the Semester Course and Middle School Course.
We created these new slide decks based on teacher feedback that they would help you reduce prep time and simplify facilitation. We hope you’re as excited as we are for this new development!
Here’s everything you need to know to get started with NGPF Google Slides.
Q: Which Courses Have Google Slides?
A: The Semester Course and Middle School Course both have slides for each lesson. There are slides available for many lessons in the Trimester Course and Full-Year Course, as they overlap with the Semester Course.
Q: Where Can I Find Google Slides?
A: You can find Google Slides for each lesson on the course or unit pages. Click the “Google Slides” button under the lesson.
Q: What Do the Google Slides Look Like?
A: Check out this example deck for the lesson Why Should I Invest? Each slide deck is paired with a Student Activity Packet - it includes the same resources and questions for that lesson.
Q: How Do I Use the Google Slides? A: We recommend using the slides as a tool for pacing and guiding students through the lesson materials. You will still need to distribute student-facing materials, such as the Student Activity Packet, activity materials, and Exit Ticket.
If you would like to modify the slides, you can click “File” and “Make a copy” to create a personal copy. We recommend making copies close to when you implement the lesson, to ensure you have the most up-to-date version.
Q: Can I Use NGPF Google Slides With Other Platforms?
Yes! You can import Google Slides into many platforms, like Canva, Pear Deck, or your LMS.
With this new release of Google Slides, NGPF is no longer offering Pear Decks. If you would like to use the Pear Deck platform, you can easily use the new NGPF Google Slides and add Pear Deck interactive features.
