NGPF Nearpod Decks: Simplified, Streamlined, and Ready for Your Classroom
We are excited to announce that several updates have been made to our Trimester, Semester and Full-Year Nearpod decks to enhance usability. Here’s what to look out for:
- The teacher-facing facilitation slides at the beginning of each deck have been removed. They have been replaced with one slide that contains links to the lesson guide and Nearpod transition slides for that lesson. These links do not allow students to access answer keys, so there’s no need to remove them before sharing the deck with your students.
- All EdPuzzles have been replaced with a video slide that uses Nearpod's features to ask questions as students watch the video. This video slide records answers for these resources on the Nearpod platform. If you are interested in using EdPuzzle, that link is still available in the lesson guide.
- All NGPF documents that require students to make a copy (like activities, Fine Prints, and Data Crunches) are now directly linked on the instruction slide so that they launch into a new tab (see below). Any teacher-facing only activities, like MOVE and PLAY, do not have a link in the Nearpod to prevent students from accessing teacher-only resources. You can find links to these teacher-only instructions in the lesson guide.
These updates are all based on your feedback! We strive to simplify your experience and make it easier to deliver engaging personal finance lessons.
