Congrats to the First Cohort of ASU Investment Management for Educators Course
Please help NGPF congratulate the FIRST cohort of participants for ASU’s Investment Management for Educators graduate course! After having already completed NGPF’s Investing and Advanced Investing certification courses, these participants were awarded NGPF scholarships to be able to take the graduate course with Arizona State University because of their dedication to personal finance education.
Here is what some participants had to say about their experience:
"This was the best graduate level experience I have ever had. Everything was truly done on my schedule. The videos varied in length but had value information. The professors explain the information in easy to understand terms."
Charisse Woodward in VA
"ASU's Investment Management for Educators seamlessly progressed from the NGPF Advanced Investing Certification. This was an excellent course to learn about investing both personally and educationally! The content was understandable and relevant. I appreciated the self-paced format, and the opportunity to re-take assessments for better understanding. I highly recommend taking this course to anyone interested in taking a deep dive into the world of investing."
Kim Gieck in NM
"I'm new to Canvas but the course was easy to use and work through. The assessments were fair and questions were covered in the material presented. The module lengths allowed me to complete them fairly quickly during my day."
R. Faulkner in NC
"Ever since I attended my first NGPF professional development course in 2020, I've experienced the transformation that comes from my mission of enhancing students' financial well-being, which has also positively affected my own financial journey. This course has been a truly enriching, full-circle experience for me. As an educator, my understanding of finances has expanded, enabling me to impact generations of students and my own family. The impact NGPF has had on me is immeasurable, and for that, I am deeply grateful. Thank you so much!"
Christopher Jackson in CA
In part because of their efforts and the successful completion of the pilot course from all 118 participants, NGPF is happy to announce the next cohort!
