NGPF On-Demand: Novice Investor Pitfalls
NGPF On-Demand is a professional development opportunity that allows teachers to deepen their content knowledge on their own schedule and at their own pace.
One of the 31 On-Demand modules currently available is "Novice Investor Pitfalls." This module dives into historical investing pitfalls and how they impact investors.
Here are some highlights from the module:
- Choose between two articles (8 of the Most Notorious Ponzi Schemes in US History or The Pioneers of Financial Fraud) to learn more about investing scams throughout US history.
- Choose to dig deeper into one of three investing pitfalls - Penny Stock Trading, Day Trading, or Forex Trading.
- Share ideas and ways to incorporate investing pitfalls into classroom instruction. Here is a sneak peek at some of the Collaborative Board responses:
