NGPF Extra Mile Award: Teachers Completing The Most On-Demand Modules

A quick note...

I apologize for the confusion regarding the blog post from yesterday. Several of you, who earned a significant number of NGPF Academy credits, reached out to ask why you were not included on the list. I know the commitment and dedication you showed in the past year is certainly worthy of recognition! The Extra Mile Award from yesterday focused strictly on our one-hour workshops (aka Virtual PDs), this post looks at teacher participation in On-Demands and next week you will learn about teachers who completed ALL 10 Certification courses. We will also be posting a list with the top 1% in overall Academy credits across the three PD opportunities. Stay tuned.

Regards,

Tim

Over the next two weeks, we will be celebrating the achievements of educators during the challenging 2020-2021 school year!

Today's post focuses on teacher participation in our newest professional development option, NGPF On-Demand.

Next week, we will highlight teachers who completed all 10 of the NGPF Certification Courses and some of their FAVORITE PDs.

NGPF On-Demand was introduced in January of 2021 as a flexible professional development opportunity to accommodate teachers’ busy schedules. The NGPF On-Demand library currently consists of 30 modules that can be completed in approximately 1 hour on your own time and at your own pace. Here's a few of the most popular On-Demand modules:

  • $7.25: The Minimum Wage
  • Popular Budgeting Methods and Strategies
  • Investing for Beginners
  • Auto Loans
  • Dark Patterns Are Trying to Trick You

NGPF Academy recognizes and rewards educators who participate in NGPF professional development. Teachers track their hours on their My NGPF Academy portal on the NGPF website and earn NGPF swag and gift cards as their credit hours accumulate. Participate in your first NGPF virtual PD, complete an On-Demand module or crush an NGPF Certification Course and you are automatically signed up for the Academy.
