Behind the numbers (J.P. Morgan):

"For... Hispanic and Latino respondents, motivations for investing skew toward future generations. Whether it be to save for retirement, to pay for your kid’s college down the line, or to generally combat inflation, everyone who invests has to start somewhere, and there is always some inherent motivation for starting. Responding Black, Hispanic, and Latino investors (71% and 65%) say they were more motivated than White investors (55%) to start investing by the prospect of building wealth to pass down to future generations. The Black, Hispanic, and Latina women investor subset of this group scored high on the same sentiment."
