ICYMI the Virtual PD - Outstanding Review Ideas From NGPF Teachers
NGPF teachers are a wealth of knowledge! Here are some of the great review ideas attendees have brought to NGPF team member Amanda’s Virtual PDs:
- Vocab Card Sort: Create a deck of vocab terms and a deck of definitions. Split the class into teams that race each other to match up the correct cards
- Review Bingo: Put questions and answers into a Bingo Board Generator website
- Jenga: Write a question on each Jenga block that students have to answer when they pull that block during the game. Pro tip: To simplify prep and reuse the blocks, you can also write a number on each block that corresponds to a numbered Question Sheet
- Reverse Jeopardy: Give students the vocabulary terms and have them write a question to go along with it. Bonus: This can be used to create a Jeopardy review game!
- 6-Word Stories: Students write 6-word stories on key concepts
- Sharks and Minnows: In a large space, mark areas for each answer choice (either A, B, C,D or True/ False). Ask a question and students run to their answer area. Until they’re in the correct answer area, they are not safe and can be tagged
- Jigsaw: Divide the class into groups. Each group is assigned a different topic to become experts in. Then, shuffle the groups and have students share our their expertise
- Anchor Charts: Students summarize key concepts on posters that go up around the room
- Myth or Fact: Create a series of statements. Students must determine if they are myth or fact

Retired Quizlets
With this release, we decided to retire the existing personal finance Quizlets. We believe the new study materials offer an even better way to review unit vocabulary.
- For a focused unit vocabulary list - use Part II of each Unit Review document
- For a comprehensive vocabulary list - use the Personal Finance Dictionary
If you want to continue using the Quizlets after they are retired, you will be able to find them in the Retired Resources spreadsheet found on your Teacher Toolkit page. Please note, NGPF will no longer be maintaining or updating these Quizlets.
